Der Pittsburger johnny chung lee hat eine Software entwickelt, über die man mit einem einfachen Infrarot Stift (DIY Preis = etwa 2 Euro) und einer Wii-mote (Remote Control vom Nintendo Wii) einen PC über einen Projektor (bzw. das projezierte Bild) steuern kann. Super für Präsentationen, aber auch andere Arbeiten werden erheblich erleichtert, bzw. bringen mehr Spass. Das Prinzip ist ganz einfach - die Wii Remote empfängt Infrarotstrahlung - sie darf also max. 45 Grad Winkel zum projezierten Bild stehen (und ihre Sicht darf nicht behindert werden, klar). Man kalibriert nun den Lightpen mit Johnys Software und schon hat man einen Stift zu fernbedienen des Rechners, aber seht selber:
